Hidden Harmony
When you live among many trees during the brilliance of autumn, it’s easy to be captivated by the tall ones, the maples and oaks whose crowns blaze in gold, crimson, and orange. Their beauty fills the sky, commanding your gaze, as if the forest itself is aflame with life.
Yet, when the great trees release their leaves and the brilliance begins to fade, something quiet happens. Your eyes adjust to the stillness, and suddenly you see what was hidden. The little trees, the ones that stood patiently in the shadows now shimmer in the soft light. Their slender branches, their tender greens and golds, come into view. What was once overlooked becomes newly radiant.
Life mirrors this truth. There are seasons when the grand, the loud, and the visible fill our attention. And then there are times of letting go, when the outer layers fall away and our focus shifts. In those moments, we begin to notice the subtle beauty that has been there all along: the quiet people, the inner truths, the tender parts of ourselves waiting to be seen.
This is the rhythm of Harmony, the dance of visibility and stillness, brilliance and humility. Every soul, every moment, has its season to shine. When we let go of what overshadows, we make space for new light to emerge.
Question for Reflection:
What or who in your life has been quietly waiting to be seen and what might unfold if you turned your attention their way?
